This national park is on the eastern Sierras, behind Mammoth Mountain ski resort. You park at the ski resort and take the shuttle bus into the valley. I also hikes on the trail toward the west, into Ansel Adams Wilderness, and found another outcropping of the rock formation. You can also see the Minarets from here.
