This is Mount Tamalpais in February of 2011. It was the only time in my life I got to the top while there was still snow. I hiked from Kentfield, in the rain and snow. There were a few people up there, also experiencing something truly special. No, you cannot drive to the top when there’s snow. They close the roads.
