The McKenzie Trail, like the Flume Trail, is on the short list of America’s greatest mountain bike rides. The weather was perfect, and the trail was rough. My poor cross bike was suffering the entire time. There is the Blue Hole, created by the water seeping up from beneath as well as over the falls. The ride took about five hours.
